The Wenatchee Naturalist program provides teachers of students K-12 with an in-depth look at the natural wonders of North Central Washington. This class is designed to inspire a deeper connection to the wonders of the Wenatchee valley and to bring new sources of joy to everyday life. The knowledge of the valley and natural world can provide classroom teachers with knowledge they can use inside their own class room. Many teachers have taken the course and are incorporating what they learned into their own classrooms.
Teachers can earn clock hours while they learn and many of the materials can be adapted to class rooms, K-12.
